identify this bike

There is no universal registration of bike serial numbers. Even the number stamped on the frame doesn't necessarily mean much. Your best bet is to figure out the manufacture of the frame, and see if they have a lookup for it. However, all of this is generally irrelevant, as who originally made a bike doesn't have any real bearing on its rideability. @David Curiosity is always a valid reason. However, unless you are trying to restore a bike to original condition, it's much easier to figure out replacement parts by measuring than by figuring out what make the bike is and then also finding the specs of that bike in enough detail to know, e.g., what kind of bottom bracket it has: both of those things tend to be very difficult. The logo on the downtube shows some similarity to the logo on this bike: I can’t find a similar looking model on that site but you could contact them at least to ask about the serial number. It seems like the best place to ask, in the first instance. It looks to me like it’s a metal frame, road style, but current models on that site are all carbon and mostly TT frames. Could be relevant to the question, maybe it’s an older model, I don’t know the history of the company. Googling CCR is hampered by a model of Fuji bikes with that name, the band Creedence Clearwater Revival and a model of Koenigsegg which all seem to be more famous. We’re now looking at Quantec, so I’m parking this link here for posterity:

This community is amazing! I got a call and two emails letting us know that the bike was located today outside Recycled Cycles in Seattle - and the guys there kept an eye on it until we got there. We called the Seattle PD who let us know we could go ahead and take the bike home. translated from English Holly Bike recovered 2023.6.13

Order A Motorcycle VIN Check Online

Why Order a Motorcycle VIN Check? Before you buy or sell a used motorcycle, dirt bike, scooter, or ATV, it's always a good idea to obtain a VIN check. Also known as a motorcycle vehicle history report (VHR) or VIN lookup, this report discloses information associated with said bike's vehicle identification number, such as: • Accidents. • Damage. • Title history. • Recalls. The information found on the VIN number lookup could be the deciding factor on completing the purchase or the sale. Buying a Used Motorcycle Once you narrow down the choices for your bike, run a VIN check on each of the candidates to ensure the details you've received coincide with the motorcycle's title history. This will help you determine if the seller's asking price falls in line with the bike's fair market value. For example, if you've been quoted a price and then discover that the bike sustained damages in an accident, you can negotiate a lower price or continue shopping for a better deal. If the seller isn't being honest about one detail, they probably have something else to hide. Be wary of sellers who don't disclose an accurate motorcycle VIN number check. VIN Number Lookup for Sellers When it comes to disclosing title history, be transparent. Disclose any damage, motorcycle accidents, repairs and more so that the buyer knows what he is getting himself into. To offer proof that the purchase price you are asking for is fair, our suggestion is to provide potential buyers with a motorcycle vehicle h...
