The ninth season of the all-exciting Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is set to kickstart on January 6, 2023 that will run till February 16. Comilla Victorians are the reigning champions of the league as they emerged victorious against Fortune Barishal in the previous edition. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) decided to hold the tournament in five phases on the basis of venues which essentially means that Dhaka will host the first phase followed by Chittagong taking over the venue for the second phase. The action will return to Dhaka once again for the third phase and the elimination rounds whereas the fourth round will be hosted in Sylhet.
