BSNL INTL’ ROAMING customer is issued a new International Roaming SIM TIMSI SIM) without change in the existing mobile number. All the contacts from existing SIM are to be copied to the phone before changing to TIMSI SIM. BSNL TIMSI SIM has 2 modes of Operation NATIONAL MODE : FOR USE WITHIN INDIA. INTERNATIONAL MODE : FOR USE IN OTHER COUNTRIES. By default TIMSI SIM operates in National Mode. A user can manually choose the International Mode for availing BSNL service while he/she is abroad.
