The Astronaut" is continuing to prove its global popularity on YouTube. The music video surpassed the 80 million view mark as of June 10 KST, roughly 225 days after its initial release. Meanwhile, "The Astronaut" was released as a special gift to fans ahead of Jin's military enlistment. For the single, he worked with the band Coldplay, who wrote and composed the song with him and provided the instrumental for the track as well. "The Astronaut" also surpassed15 million Shazams on June 4 for the first time in K-pop history and, on June 6, the single returned to #3 onthe Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart for the first time in two months.
