CG TET 2022 Exam today, check last minute guidelines and details on exam centre

CG TET 2022 exam is slated to be held today, September 18, 2022 in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm and the second shift will begin from 2 pm and continue till 4:45 pm. CG TET exam center addresses are amended for 10 locations, check the revised adresses and other guidelines here. Candidates must note that the board has not changed the location of the exam and only the addresses which are incomplete or incorrect are revised. Candidates are required to follow the exam date, center, timings etc. as mentioned on the CG TET admit card. As per the CG TET 2022 exam schedule, the exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm and the second shift will begin from 2 pm and continue till 4:45 pm. Central Teacher Eligibility Test

INTRODUCTION In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 and 29th JULY, 2011 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in Clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that he/she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE. The Ministry of Education, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi.
