How to delete Project from Google Developers Console

Seems like Google services are increasingly harder to manage. Now i want to delete a project ID that was previously created in another test account. Assuming that I could recreate it in another account. The main reason for this is that the Google+ app is connected/created in this test account and the email address will be shown when someone is confronted with the login credentials. I want to remove my credit card from my Google account but I can't because it says a Google Cloud subscription is currently using it. So then I want to cancel the Google Cloud subscription but I have no idea where to do. I've tried to look it up on Google... but I still have no idea. I just don't want nothing to do with anything called Google Cloud.... I just want my credit card gone. I'm sure this is not the place for these questions but I tried to look for somewhere to contact a Google Employee but the whole platform is just beyond annoying and complex. How to delete a project from Google Cloud Console

As 2017 approaches, • Go to • Select your project (from drop-down on top nav-bar) • Select IAM & Admin (from hamburger menu on top-left nav-bar) • Click Settings in the left-side-bar nav. • Click SHUT DOWN (image shows DELETE PROJECT) • Enter text per instructions to confirm project shutdown. UPDATE 11-2020 After clicking SHUT DOWN, you'll see the final dialog popup with instructions on what to type to confirm. At the time of writing, the following instructions work: select a project from the Google Developers Console, then select "Billing & Settings" from the side panel on the left. If billing is not enabled then the "Delete project" button will be enabled, otherwise click the "Disable billing" button first. As of Dec 30, 2017, this appears to be different (yet again).
