Chiyaan Vikram-starrer 'Cobra' directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu is one of the most awaited films of the year. While the post-production work for the film had been going on in full swing the film is all set to release soon. While the film was earlier announced to release on August 11th worldwide, the latest buzz is that film's release might be postponed. According to reports, the film which was scheduled to hit the screns on August 11, will now release on August 31, 2022. An official confirmation is yet to be announced. The film produced by Lalith Kumar's 7 Screen and will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi language and AR Rahman has composed music for the film. Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan will be making his acting debut with ‘Cobra’ wherein he plays the role of a Turkish Interpol officer named Aslan Yilmaz. Vikram will be seen in more than 20 looks in Cobra. Apart from Vikram and Irfan Pathan, the film also stars 'KGF' fame Srinidhi Shetty, Mrinalini, Malayalam actor Lal, Kanika, Padmapriya, Babu Antony and others.

Running time: 181 minutes 'Cobra' is an action thriller film that revolves around a Mathematics genius (played by Chiyaan Vikram) and his use of numbers to solve intelligent crimes.
