MINI SUMMER WITH ISOLATED MODERATE RAINS ON CARD'S NEXT 1 WEEK : Now Heavy thunderstorm strom pouring over parts of Erode and Salem. Northern part of kongu belt expected to get moderate rains overnight. sathyamangalam, mettur to gobi stretch , north Coimbatore, mettupalayam, Nilgiris in line of rains overnight. Same kinda scattered heavy rains to continue upcoming day's over kongu belt. Other parts of Tamilnadu expected to be silent. Interior tamilnadu makkal konja nal heat bare pani than aganu.. South of Coimbatore district- particularly the zone close to ghats- is getting it's share of rains that was denied to it during the monsoons. Remember, during the SWM 2019 season due to northward flow of monsoonal winds, south of pollachi - both west and east - didn't get it's share of usual rains save for the 2 heavy spells, one in august and another in september which turned to be life savior for crops and fodder. And this zone is now rewarded with the slowed down (or near lack of) westerlies, causing convergence and the late afternoon downpour. Also to note, there isn't much thunder or lightning. Nature has it's way of balancing indeed. North pollachi which is direct beneficiary of monsoon flows is seeing fair weather conditions.
