With the motto “Games for Everyone,” the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games started on 28th July with a grand opening ceremony. This 11-day sports gathering will draw its closing curtain on 9th August with the closing ceremony. The first day of sporting actions was on 29th July. We are already on Day 2 as of Saturday, 30th July. The opening ceremony was held in the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham, and the same venue will provide the setting for the closing ceremony on 9th August.
