Barcelona vs. Sevilla: Copa del Rey live stream, TV channel, how to watch online, news, odds

Barcelona's best chance at a trophy this season may just be in the Copa del Rey, but if they want to make the final, they are going to need another big-time performance against Sevilla when the two meet on Wednesday in the semifinal second leg. Barca lost the first leg 2-0, but a 2-0 win over Sevilla in La Liga last weekend has Ronald Koeman's side feeling good entering this one. Here's how you can watch the match and what to know: Viewing information • Date: Wednesday, March 3 | Time: 3 p.m. ET • Location: Camp Nou -- Barcelona, Spain • TV and live stream: ESPN+ • Odds: Barcelona -187; Draw +320; Sevilla +480 (via William Hill Sportsbook) • Follow along: Storylines Barcelona: An uphill battle for sure, this is still something this Barca side is more than capable of overturning. The defense must be at its best. Barca will get their chances, and let's remember that Lionel Messi has scored more goals against Sevilla than any other club in his career. Expect a fast pace, for Barca to start face and for this one to come down to the wire. Sevilla: It's going to have to be much better than last time out. While they dominated the first leg, the league encounter this past weekend saw Sevilla struggle. They put just two shots on goal, were sloppy in their tackling and didn't get forward nearly enough. They will aim to protect their lead, but by welcoming the Barca attack by sitting back, they could be playing with fire. Keep an eye on how they approach the match in the first 15 min...

About Copa del Rey The Spanish Copa del Rey is the second most relevant football competition in Spain. This tournament saw the light of day in 1902, and its full name is “Campeonato de España – Copa de Su Majestad el Rey" which translates to "Championship of Spain – Cup of His Majesty the King". It is the oldest competition in Spanish football history, preceding the formation of La Liga – or the Primera División. Due to the tournament’s rich history, the Copa del Rey is revered as one of the most prestigious domestic cups in world football. Athletic Bilbao, a club that has enjoyed tremendous success on this stage, won the inaugural title, beating Real Madrid – then known simply as Madrid FC – 3-2 in the final. This event has seen its format change through time. The first championship was played by only three teams while the 2018/19 edition saw 83 teams participate, as it had been for many years. However, come 2019/20, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) decided to include more teams to give the tournament a new look and thus upped the number of contestants to 125. This move brought about the inclusion of regional teams from the fifth division. Each round is played in a one-match format, excluding the semi-finals. The champions earn a ticket to the Europa League. If the winners have already secured European berth via the league, then this spot passes down to the highest-placed team in La Liga to have missed out on the UEFA club competition. The two finalists qualif...

Real Madrid enter Saturday's match looking for their first Copa del Rey title since 2014 against 2005 runners-up Club Atletico Osasuna. Los Blancos travel to Seville out of the running for this season's La Liga crown and in danger of losing second spot to bitter rivals Atletico Madrid but Carlo Ancelotti's men are still in UEFA Champions League contention which could make this the first part of a rare double given that Real have only won the Copa twice in the 2000s. For Osasuna, this would be a historic result for the Basque outfit as it is only their second ever final appearance and first since their extra time defeat to Real Betis 18 years ago. It was no small measure of revenge that the men from Pamplona dumped out Los Beticos en route to the final where they also disposed of regional powerhouse Athletic Club after Sevilla. Real thumped bitter rivals Barcelona as well as overcoming Atleti and Villarreal to get here. Here's our storylines, how you can watch the match and more: Sorry!
