Ongoing K-drama “Crash Course In Romance” is drawing a lot of attention for its meaningful message and gentle humor. “Crash Course In Romance”, a new weekend drama of tvN, has been proving itself as a healing dosage with a cute and gentle story. At the same time, it is receiving positive feedback, with viewership ratings rising from 4% in episode 1 to 7.6% in episode 4, and flaunting excellent acting performances from all cast members. In particular, “Crash Course In Romance” revolves around two people who seem to never belong to the same world. First, there’s Haeng Seon (Jeon Do Yeon) – a former athlete who now runs a side dish shop, at the same time raising her brother with developmental disorders and her teenage niece. As if that weren’t complicated enough, it’s getting increasingly difficult to ignore the budding feelings between them. And then there’s that pesky fake husband story that everyone keeps tripping over… EPISODES 9-10 Chi-yeol takes the All Care moms to his office to explain that he’s well within his rights to tutor a student for free on his own time. Just as most of them are starting to hang their heads in shame, Haeng-sun comes barging in trying to take the fall. Chi-yeol drags her out of the room for damage control, and they argue in the stairwell over who’s making the situation look worse and whether it calls for defense (not Haeng-sun’s forte), offense, or — Chi-yeol’s preference — “team play.” By which he means she waits and he smooths things over. Rebuffed but not defeated, Su-hee threatens to boycott Chi-yeol if the tutoring doesn’t stop. To her annoyance, Chi-yeol isn’t fazed. She stews until her husband suggests Chi-yeol and Haeng-sun might be romantically involved (and he’d know — he’s the one having an affair).
