In This Post: – – – – – Updated: Aug 3, 2022 Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) has allocated Mobile Arazi Record Centres in different districts of the province to provide transparent and timely delivery of services to the public. The new Mobile Arazi Record Centres have been allocated in Bahawalpur, Lahore, Multan, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sargodha and Rawalpindi on Wednesday and Thursday every week. Director General (DG) PLRA Muhammad Ali also presided over a meeting to review the weekly progress of the field staff in the province. It was informed that due to the effective performance of the field staff, more than 50,000 mutations were sorted while over 20,000 pending tasks of other staff members were also dealt with. On average, 80% of users were given Fard in less than 30 minutes at each Land Records Centre. In a separate update, it was also announced that the PLRA’s pre-appointment system has streamlined the delivery of digital land records services. Installed on 232 land records centres in the province, the authority is issuing more than 200,000 land mutations and Fards every month across Punjab. A total of 144,897 appointments were booked in July alone out of which 107,000 people were timely served which makes up 90% of the complaints. 85,030 appointments were booked through the PLRA helpline, 36,007 through its website, and the remaining 23,860 appointments were booked at the service centres.
