The two performances had multiple AGT Judges comparing the teen from Indonesia to an “angel” and earned her the coveted Who is Putri Ariani? Ariani’s dream has always been to launch her own singing career, telling the Judges before her performance that she hopes to one day be a Grammy-winning singer like Whitney Houston, but her path to stardom has had a unique challenge. “My biggest challenge is people look at me just as a blind person, not that I’m a musician, but when I’m singing, I feel like a silver star,” she said before taking the stage.
