Ascoril expectorant and bronchodilator is manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It’s marketed in Kenya by the same company. Ascoril expectorant contains salbutamol 2mg, bromhexine 4mg, guaiphenesin 100mg and menthol 1mg. The syrup is indicated for upper respiratory tract infections associated with production of heavy mucus. its contents help loosen the mucus, and open up the respiratory tract enabling easy coughing out of sputum and breathing.
