Google’s Massive Pixel 8 Pro Upgrade Now Even More Likely

Pixel 8: • Wide (primary): 50-megapixel Isocell GN2 sensor • Ultrawide: 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 sensor • ToF (depth): Single-point Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro: New Primary Camera Both the Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro are expected to feature an improved primary camera featuring a Samsung Isocell GN2 sensor that’s 35% bigger than the Isocell GN1 found in the current Pixel 7 range. This will help the Pixel 8 to take pictures with less image noise, better color, improved low-light performance and faster shutter speeds to cut down on unwanted motion blur. Equally important is the Isocell GN2’s new ‘Staggered HDR’ feature that lets the camera capture multiple exposures at the same time, speeding up the HDR process and improving overall dynamic range.
