By India Today Web Desk: The long-awaited movie Govinda Naam Mera, starring Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar, now has a release date! The producers have chosen a date for the coming months because of the buzz that the countless images and teasers have created. ‘GOVINDA NAAM MERA’ ON OTT PLATFORM: RELEASE DATE, WHERE TO WATCH As per sources, Govinda Naam Mera will debut on Disney+ Hotstar on December 16, 2022. The platform considered a few dates, but December 16 was chosen in the end. ‘GOVINDA NAAM MERA’ ON OTT PLATFORM: CAST AND PLOT The movie is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions, owned by Karan Johar. Shashank Khaitan is the writer and director. The film shares a similar concept with Mr Lele, which starred Varun Dhawan. Unfortunately, the movie was postponed to 2020 as a result of the epidemic and Varun Dhawan's hectic schedule. Prior to this, Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani worked on the anthology movie Lust Stories in 2018, and the actor also teamed up with Bhumi in the 2020 thriller Bhoot - Part One: The Haunted Ship.

In the Meghna Gulzar movie, Vicky will be seen playing the role of Sam Manekshaw. He will be seen alongside Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Besides that, Vicky has Laxman Utekar's untitled next film with Sara Ali Khan lined up. The actors have completed shooting for the movie.

Javed demands ₹2 lakhs for the gun but Govinda is unable to pay him and gets threatened by him regularly. Govinda and Suku get an opportunity to choreograph a music video for the rich producer Ajit Dharkar's drug-addicted son Sandeep aka Sandy. The music video is made, but Govinda and Suku have more screen time in it compared to Sandy, which angers Ajit and he demands that they repay him ₹30 lakhs, which was the amount spent in making the song. Sometime later, Govinda finds Sandy injured in his car post an accident. With him being unconscious, Govinda finds and steals drugsfrom his car, which are worth crores of rupees and Suku suggests they sell them. They both go to Govinda's house and are shocked to find Gauri lying dead on the floor, seemingly murdered. They are clueless as to who may have killed her, and bury her in the garden outside the house, removing all other evidence.
