Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary (Yavatmal)

We never expected to have such great experience before the tip. We visited in the month of October and enjoyed the serenity and beauty fo Jungle. Wil tigers, so many birds, wild dogs, Peacock and many more. In our all five safaris we could see Tiger. Overall one of the best jungle in India to visit. Visited Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary last week with friends. We had 3 safaris in the forest. The forest is really beautiful. No doubt about it. Vast spread of Teak trees makes it really dense. The staff seems to be lacking a basic dress code for the safaris. Some guides were even lacking sufficient knowledge. The flora is wonderful but the forest lacks heavily on the fauna part. They say that there are about 20 tigers. But, you will be very lucky if you get to see. Even the other wildlife is also not visible. So, one or two safaris are good enough. If you get to see the tiger, you are lucky otherwise just enjoy the forest. At 5 hour 30 min drive from Hyderabad, Tipeshwar Wildlife Santuary is one of the closest place for wildlife enthusiasts and Foxtail provides the perfect place for staying overnight. We choose to stay for 3 nights from Friday through Sunday with a view to log in 5 safaris. The lodge is abutting the entrance of the Santuary which makes it super convenient on logistics. The place is ...
