Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT) is an autonomous institute that started in 2001 and is located in Kolkata, West Bengal. The main objective of the college is to develop the aspired students as competitive professionals through appropriate technical education. Heritage Institute of Technology placement and training cell conducts all the placement-related activities. The cell organizes mock interviews, orientation programmes, and grooming sessions for the overall development of students. The training and placement cell invites organizations to hire students from the college. The cell also conducts internship fairs so that the students can get industry exposure. The Heritage Institute of Technology placement and training cell has successfully placed a large number of students from the college. The cell receives feedback from the companies and applies the same with the students to train them accordingly.
