By Express News Service LONDON: AT a briefing following the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) SGM in Ahmedabad during the final leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) last month, the board had gone on record to say that the World Cup itinerary would be unveiled around the World Test Championship final in London. “(The) press conference will happen and it will happen in London around the World Test Championship final,” board secretary, Jay Shah, had said then. “The complete schedule for the tournament will also be revealed.” That may not come to fruition. At lunch on Day One of the final, the chief executive of the International Cricket Council (ICC), Geoff Allardyce, did not set a timeframe towards announcing the schedule.
