India vs Australia Highlights, WTC Final 2023: India 164/3 at stumps on Day 4, need 280 runs on final day Virat Kohli remained undefeated on 44 as India reached 164 for 3 at stumps on fourth day after Australia set a huge 444-run target in the final of the World Test Championship. Kohli and first innings hero Ajinkya Rahane (20 not out) added 71 runs for the fourth wicket as India need to score 280 runs in 90 overs on the final day. Shubman Gill (18), skipper Rohit Sharma (43) and Cheteshwar Pujara (27) were the batters dismissed. Earlier, Australia declared their second innings at 280 for 8 with Alex Care scoring 66 not out and Ravindra Jadeja taking three wickets. Read Less I think we have the runs on the board, always look for more wickets, but they played well (on Rahane and Kohli). We'll have another chance tomorrow. Looked good to me (on the Green catch), we were happy and the right decision was made. It's not great to see them scoring at 6 rpo, but we pegged them back, quick wickets does help and we'll look for more tomorrow. I thought Mitch (Starc) played beautifully, attacked at the right moment and took the pressure off me. A tricky little period in the morning and we got over well. Class players (Kohli and Rahane), this is a good partnership, we need to remain patient, hit the right areas and hopefully the wickets will come. Australia's Alex Carey after day's play That's it! Stumps on Day 4. Nathan Lyon completes the final over of the Day. A solid fight from the...

Ind vs Aus Day 2, WTC 2023 Final LIVE Score: India and Australia will lock horns once again in the final of the World Test Championship on June 10. On the third day of the Test match, India were bowled out for 296 runs while Australia scored 123 runs and lost 4 wickets at the close of play on Friday. Ajinkya Rahane and Shardul Thakur shone in the batting department for India, with Rahane falling just 11 runs short of a well-deserved century, while Thakur scored his third century at The Oval. The Indian duo stood firm on a deteriorating pitch, taking hits to the body to keep their team in the game. Australia leads by 296 runs with six wickets to spare. India will look to bowl the Kangaroos out for less than 400 runs and hope their batting can withstand the pressure of the swinging conditions at The Oval in the second innings. For the uninitiated, India also reached the WTC final in the inaugural cycle but lost to New Zealand in the penultimate game. Meanwhile, Australia are playing in their first WTC final and will be looking to add that final elusive trophy to their armoury. 10 Jun 2023, 11:01:35 PM IST WTC 2023 Final: Team India's best chases in Test history, highest chases at The Oval Australia has set a massive target of 444 runs for India to chase in the WTC 2023 Final at The Oval in London. Given the huge score, it's very crucial for India's top order to play carefully and not collapse like in the first innings. Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill will have a special respons...

India vs Australia, 4th Test, Australia tour of India, 2023

Between Rohit Sharma's classic in the city of oranges to Virat's superfluous knock at Ahmedabad, there were a few captivating moments that magnified the glory of this keenly contested series. The rise of Murphy, the persistence of Lyon, the doggedness of Khawaja, the astuteness of Ashwin, the batting prowess of Axar, the sheer metronomy from Jadeja and the pristineness of Gill were a few other highlights of the series. Players like Labuschagne and Smith didn't leave much of a mark on the series. But knowledge wise have gone back richer. India have won this 2-1 but were made to work really hard for it as was the case back in 2017. So, India have ended their red ball campaign for this season. The next season post the IPL will begin with the WTC final in early days of June. These two will again cook a recipe for a masterclass. Till then our team of Kumar Abhisekh, Pradeep Krishnamurthy, MS Ramakrishnan and Siva bids you ta ta! But yeah just like the cameos from this series, the smooth coverage won't have been possible without Sagar Chawla, Nikhil JD and Akshay Maanay. Enough! Rohit Sharma: Was a fantastic series. Right from the word go, how exciting it was. Lot of the players are playing this for the first time. We do understand the importance of this series and the opposition. Lot of hard work has gone into this. At different times we have come up with answers. We knew how important it was to start the series well. The Delhi Test, I am very proud of. We were behind in the ga...
