NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India ( The series will consist of a total of 10 matches and will span over the course of one month. India will begin the tour with a two-match Test series. The first Test will be held from July 12 to July 16 at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Dominica. Has the most consistent Indian Test team lost its best shot at glory? Consistency has been the hallmark of the Indian Test team over the past five years but after its second successive failure in a WTC final, has it lost its best shot at attaining greatness?The second Test match is scheduled to take place from June 20 to June 24 at the Queen's Park Oval inTrinidad. Both Test matches will start at 7:30 pm IST. The first T20I match is scheduled for August 3 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad. The second T20I will be held at the The third T20I will also take place at the same stadium on August 8. The fourth and fifth T20I games are slated to be played at the Broward County Stadium in Florida on August 12 and 13 respectively.

The series will begin with two Tests, which will be part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle. The second Test match, to be played from 20-24 July at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad, will mark a historic occasion as it will be the 100th Test match played between the two teams. The Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad will host a West Indies men’s ODI for the first time on August 1. “We are delighted to be able to confirm the schedule and venues for the highly anticipated visit by India. One of the highlights will be the 100th Test at the Queen’s Park Oval and this promises to be a fantastic occasion as we celebrate this historic event between these two proud cricketing nations. We also look forward to hosting India in the white ball fixtures and welcoming fans to attend the matches across the region, as well as in the United States. It will be 18 days of entertainment for cricket lovers to enjoy and savour,” Johnny Grave, CEO of CWI, said.

With this win, India registered a clean sweep over the Windies in the series. Chasing a target of 185, West Indies were restricted to a total of 167 for 7, despite Nicholas Pooran's 47-ball 61. For India, Shardul Thakur, Harshal Patel, Venkatesh Iyer and Deepak Chahar took two wickets each. Earlier , Suryakumar Yadav scored a fine 31-ball 65 as India managed to post a total of 184 for five.
