Highlights

The Indian women's cricket team faces defending champions Australia in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup in South Africa, with the hope of winning their first major ICC trophy in a decade. The team secured a spot in the semi-finals after beating Ireland in their last group match, albeit unconvincingly. The team will be seeking to avenge their previous losses to Australia in the 2020 T20 World Cup and Commonwealth Games gold medal match. Australia, who are Group 1 toppers, will look to continue their dominance over India. In another semi-final, England will be facing South Africa, who secured their spot after recording the highest-ever winning margin in a Women's T20 World Cup in their match against Thailand. England claimed the T20 World Cup in 2009 and finished as Group B leaders, winning all four of their group-stage matches. Nat Sciver-Brunt's unbeaten 81 and Danni Wyatt's 59 set up their victory against Pakistan. Newlands in Cape Town will be hosting the remaining three matches of the T20 World Cup. We got the momentum back with Jemi (Jemimah). To lose from here, we weren't expecting this. The way I got run out, can't be unluckier than that. IND W vs AUS W T20 World Cup Highlights: Australia beat India by 5 runs, qualify for another final INDW vs AUSW Semi-Final: India ran Australia close in 173 run chase but fell narrowly short in the TFollow live cricket score and ball-by-ball updates in India vs Australia at the Women's T20 World Cup. Australia captain Meg Lanning "One of the best wins I have been involved in. To fightback from behind well behind and win despite not playing our best cricket. India have got some incredible players. Came right down to the wire and we had to seize those clutch moments. We stayed in the game and that's what you got to do under pressure. We didn't executed as well as we would have liked, but we never panicked. Can't wait to be out here on Sunday." India captain Harmanpreet Kaur "Can't be unluckier than this, to get that momentum back when me and Jemi were batting. We didn't expect this. The way I got runout, can't be unluckier than that. We discussed about fighting till the last ball. The result didn't go our way, but I am happy with the way we played in this tournament. We know we have a good batting line up even if we lose early wickets. Jemi was outstanding today. Happy to see those performances. Happy to see them play their natural game. We gave those easy catches away. We can only learn from these lessons and not repeat the mistakes." Player of the Match: Ashleigh Gardner "Bowling the last over, my average heart-rate is probably like 190. That just shows the way we fight as...

AUS WMN beat IND WMN AUS WMN won by 5 runs

6.13pm "One of our best wins," says Lanning, which sums up really how good this game was. A classic T20 World Cup fixture which leaves with one team in tears and another jubilant. Let's hope tomorrow's semi-final between England and South Africa proves to be as exciting. Congratulations Australia and chin up, India! Thanks all for your company. Winning captain Lanning: (Tense finish) It was. One of the best wins I've been involved in, to fight back after not playing the best cricket in all three facets. We missed our lengths and gave some width. India came hard at us, so we knew this score would've been hard to defend. But we pulled through in the clutch moments. Got nervous couple of times. But we knew playing against these guys, that you need to stay in the game to get over the line. Kaur was unfortunate. I think we are able to stay calm and composed, we didn't panic even when we weren't bowling well. These are the kind of games we want to win. Can't wait to get here for the final." Losing captain Harmanpreet: "Can't feel unluckier than this. We got the momentum back with Jemi. To lose from here, we weren't expecting this. (Tears - why?) The way I got run out, can't be unluckier than that. Putting the effort was important and we were happy to go to the last ball. We wanted to fight till the last ball. Today we wanted to chase too, so that was fine when they chose to bat. Even after losing first two wickets, we knew we had a good batting line-up. I should give credit to J...

They have probably got enough already to win the game. It's interesting to hear Marnus Labuschagne talking about the awkwardness of the pitch. We all know how much more interesting game when there is something on offer for the bowlers. Marnus doesn't really get on top of you as an opposition but he just doesn't get out. He is such an important player. It's hard to see India getting close unless Virat Kohli or someone plays a genius innings.
