India vs West Indies 2023 schedule announced: Check list of matches, dates and other details

Ind vs WI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced the schedule for India's tour of the West Indies which is slated to begin on July 12. A total of eight matches will be played in the series which will last for a month. India will kick off the series with a two-match Test series, the first match will be played from July 12 to July 16 at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium, Dominica. The second Test match will be played from June 20 to June 24 at the Queen's Park Oval, Trinidad. Both Test matches will begin at 7:30 pm IST. The second ODI will be played at the same stadium on July 29. The third and the final game of the series will be played on August 1 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad. After the ODI series, a five-match T20I series will be played between both teams. The first match will be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad on August 3. Here's the schedule of India's Tour of West Indies The second T20I match will be played at the Guyana National Stadium, Guyana on August 6. The third T20I match will be played at the same stadium on August 8. The fourth and the fifth T20I games will be played at the same stadium Broward County Stadium, Florida on August 12 and 13 respectively.

NEW DELHI, June 13 (Reuters) - India will begin their next World Test Championship (WTC) cycle with a two-test series in West Indies next month, which will be followed by eight limited-overs matches, the Caribbean cricket board has said. India lost to Australia in the WTC final on Sunday, repeating their 2021 performance when they finished runners-up behind inaugural champions New Zealand. Beginning on July 12, Rohit Sharma's team will play their series opener against West Indies in Dominica before moving to Trinidad to play the 100th test match between the sides. "We are delighted to be able to confirm the schedule and venues for the highly anticipated visit by India," Cricket West Indies Chief Executive Johnny Grave said in a statement. "One of the highlights will be the 100th test at the Queen’s Park Oval and this promises to be a fantastic occasion as we celebrate this historic event between these two proud cricketing nations." The test series will be followed by three one-dayers and five T20 Internationals between the teams. The last two T20 matches will be played in Florida. India will travel to West Indies next month to play two Test matches in Dominica (July 12-16) and Trinidad (July 20-24). India have been finalists in the first two editions of the WTC, losing to New Zealand (2021) and to Australia (2023) in the final. The WTC 2023-25 cycle will begin with the Ashes, when England face Australia in Birmingham on Friday. The schedule of the same was announced a day after the conclusion of the World Test Championship (WTC) Final 2023 by the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI). Notably, the WTC Final 2023 concluded on June 11, with India suffering a heartbreaking loss at the hands of eventual champions Australia. On the other hand, the Men in Maroon’s last assignment was against UAE. While India will enjoy a month-long break before they lock horns with West Indies, the Caribbean team will compete in the ICC World Cup Qualifiers from June 18 in Zimbabwe ahead of the India challenge.
