Khatu Shyam ji temple in Sikar Rajasthan is a very revered temple and as expected very crowded. Kudos to the management team of the temple for having organised darshan in a very good way. The temple is very crowded, so they have arranged for about 5 lines to move in parallel so that everyone gets a good darshan and time taken is not too much and there is no pushing and jostling. Having said that, yet on weekends the temple is very very crowded so one should see if weekday is possible. The car line on weekends extends several kilometers and everything gets chocked. The temple has a unique flow in the sense that you enter on one side, keep moving in one of the 5 lines for quite some time, then have darshan, and still keep moving in the same direction to exit the temple. As such the entry and exit points are separated by about 1.5 km and there is no easy way to come back to the entry point once you have reached the exit point. So better to either not wear slippers when visiting the temple or wear disposable ones, since one cannot hope to retrieve the slippers back after darshan.
