New Vedic Cultural Center (NVCC) or ISKCON NVCC is located in Kondhwa about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) south of Pune. The temple complex is built on 6 acres and it took seven years for construction. It took 40 Crore rupees to construct the temple. The temple was inagurated by the then Hon’ble President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee in 2013. It is one of the largest temple in Pune. The temple complex has two temples- the main Radha Krishna temple and the Venkateswara (Balaji) temple. The Radha-Vrindavanchandra temple is built in North Indian architecture style using red stone and marble while the Venkateswara temple is built in South Indian architecture style (Similar to Balaji temple in Tirumala) using Kota stone. ISKCON NVCC (New Vedic Cultural Center) is located in the less congested area of Kondhwa near Pune. ISKCON NVCC is a temple devoted to Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. The temple has lavish green hills in the background and provides its visitors with a great ambience. Once you enter the prayer hall, you will be awe-struck by the stunning idols of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. The idols are elegantly embellished with beautiful outfits and colourful garlands. The ceilings of the dome and the walls of the temple are artistically adorned with colourful paintings. The temple houses activities like youth training programmes and Bhagvat Gita reading classes, women and family empowerment activities, etc. apart from being the residency of Radha, Krishna and Balaram. The 'International Society for Krishna Consciousness' abbreviated as ISKCON, is also commonly known as the 'Hare Krishna movement' is a spiritual organisation that was established by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in the July of 1966 in New York. ISKCON matches the schoolings of the Vedic scriptures and the Vedas, which includes the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. ISKCON NVCC (New Vedic Cultural middle) is placed in the less congested place of Kondhwa near Pune. ISKCON NVCC is a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. The temple has lavish green hills in the heritage and provides its visitors with a first-rate ambience. once you input the prayer corridor, you'll be awe-struck through the beautiful idols of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. The idols are elegantly adorned with stunning clothes and colorful garlands. The ceilings of the dome and the partitions of the temple are artistically adorned with colourful artwork. The temple homes sports like young people education programmes and Bhagvat Gita analyzing lessons, women and own family empowerment activities, and so on. aside from being the residency of Radha, Krishna and Balaram. There is parking space available but it could be difficult to find a parking spot on heavy rush day. Good thing is its free parking. Before the temple entry there are 4 banquet halls of ISKCON. There is a small garden before the temple. You have to climb some steps to enter the temple. On ground floor there is a meditation centre. Adjacent is Balaji temple. The temple premises is surrounded by tall buildings. One can buy prasadam ( laddu ) at 60rs .
