Review: JBL Wave 300TWS – Gadget Voize

The JBL Wave 300TWS is a pair of true wireless stereo earbuds, which is available in three different colour options – black, white, sky blue, and pink. The review unit we received from Eros, was the sky blue variant. Inside the packaging, you get the earbuds inside the charging case, an orange-coloured USB-C charging cable, and some paperwork, which includes the quick start guide. Opening the charging case reveals the wireless earbuds, which are very good in design and build quality. The charging case and the earbuds though are quite lightweight. On the rear of the charging case is where you will find the USB-C port. Even though the charging case is quite compact, it is not easy to open it with one hand. The earbuds also do not come with silicon tips – they rely on a universal tip design. This means, adjusting it in the outer area of the ear canals can be a bit tricky, especially for those with a smaller ear canal opening. However, the earbuds are very comfortable to wear on longer listening sessions, since they are very lightweight. The earbuds come packed with a 12mm driver each and weigh just 3.85 gms each. The charging case meanwhile weighs around 36 gms. Connecting the earbuds to your smartphone is quite straightforward – open the charging case, remove both earbuds and they will immediately get into pairing mode. Look for “JBL WAVE300TWS” in the Bluetooth section of your smartphone and tap on it to connect. The earbuds also come with touch controls built onto them. Ta...

If you're looking for a pair of reasonably priced, water-resistant Design Available in black, blue, lavender, or white models, the Live 300TWS earphones consist of two earpieces of typical true wireless size, along with a fairly compact charging case with an eggshell-like finish. The earpieces utilize separate eartips and earfins to obtain a secure in-ear fit—they ship with three sets of eartips (S, M, L) and four pairs of earfin sleeves in various shapes and sizes. Internally, 5.6mm drivers deliver a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz. The earphones are compatible with Bluetooth 5.0, and support AAC and SBC codecs, but not AptX. Since 1982, PCMag has tested and rated thousands of products to help you make better buying decisions. (Opens in a new window) An The on-ear touch-sensitive control panels take a non-mirrored approach, with each earpiece handling different tasks. This allows for more control at your fingertips, but there’s also a lot more to memorize. The right ear handles typical controls—a single tap controls playback, a double tap skips forward a track, and a triple tap navigates back a track. A tap and hold summons your voice assistant, and a double tap and hold on the second tap puts in the earphones in pairing mode (which happens automatically when you take them out of the charging case). The left ear’s controls are less obvious—a single tap cancels Google Assistant requests, a tap and hold summons either Alexa or Google Assistant, and a double tap triggers Al...

General Specifications Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Perfect size for small ears I initially purchased the JBL LIVE FREE NC + TWS earbuds. The sound quality is superior than this reference (JBL Vibe 300TWS) But my issue was the size of the earbud. It was very big and I could not use it for longer than 30min because my ear lobe will start feeling sore. I found out that the perfect fit for my type of ear is the headphones with the old school head. That’s why the JBL Vibe 300TWS was a perfect fit for me. It’s very confortable (s...
