What's Behind Telugu girls Anjali and Chandini Chowdhary who are known for their good looks and performances are coming to entertain movie lovers with their webseries Jhansi. The film directed by Thiru, Ganesh Kaarthic started streaming on Disney+Hotstar on October 27, 2022. Let us see what Jhansi offered to movie lovers. Story Review The story of Jhansi is all about a young girl named Jansi who lands in problems for no fault of hers and how she overcomes forms the crux. Jhansi (Anjali) and Sankeet (Adarsh Balakrishna) lead happy life as live-in partners in Hyderabad. However suddenly Jhansi starts experiencing nightmarish dreams. To find out the reason behind her scary dreams and how these are related to Medar (Rudrapratap), Mafia don Kaleb (Raj Vijay), and his supporter Barbie (Chandini Chowdhary), enjoy Jhansi on Disney+Hotstar. Artists, Technicians Review Jhansi's story penned by: Thiru has an interesting premise. He starts of the narration in an interesting manner but within no time he loses the plot and from then on everything goes for a toss. He failed with his screenplay and direction as he left many questions unanswered and even missed connecting chords with the viewers emotionally. The investigation misses the thrill factor and the way the webseries ends leaves all disappointed. Anjali showed her talent as an actress. She performed in the role of Jhansi and brought in variations in expressions and emotions and made viewers glued to the screens. Chandini Chowdhary...

Jhansi Season 2 Review: Anjali's series is a major disappointment

Tamil actor Prabhu passes away, music composer D Imman performs last rites © Provided by India Today Jhansi Season 2 Review: Anjali's series is a major disappointment Anjali is back as Mahitha/ Jhansi in season 2 of the Telugu web series Jhansi, directed by Thiru. The second season takes off from where the first left off and we see Jhansi captured by Billu's men in Mumbai. Having lost her memory, Jhansi wants to find out what happened and is told that she was in a brothel called Billu's Club in Goa with Barbie (Chandini Chowdary). Ethan (Aditya) comes to the brothel and pretends to fall for her. Jhansi gets taken in and falls in love with him. When she discovers she is pregnant, she goes to inform Ethan and he tells her to get rid of the baby. All hell breaks loose when she realises his true colours. Jhansi kills Ethan and Ethan's father, Caleb, is out for revenge. What happens next? How does she escape? Is she able to protect her daughter, Meha? At the outset, this web series with a leading lady who has amnesia is very similar to Fall and Anjali doing both series is a bit of a drag. This storyline may have started with a good premise but it is not told intriguingly well enough to hold the audience's attention. The back and forth in every episode between the present and the past, and the slow pace of narration makes one lose interest quickly. The story is quite cliched and despite so many characters, sadly not one performance stands out. One is not able to become emotional...

This storyline may have started with a good premise but it is not told intriguingly well enough to hold the audience's attention. The back and forth in every episode between the present and the past, and the slow pace of narration makes one lose interest quickly. The story is quite cliched and despite so many characters, sadly not one performance stands out. One is not able to become emotionally vested in what happens to Jhansi or her child. Added to this is the fact that the production values are very average. The series focuses on sev...
