While under JJM the fund sharing pattern between Centre and states is 50:50, the Considering the groundwater conditions in the state, the state government had recently given financial approval to five major surface water projects to provide tap water connections to 15 lakhs households in 5,739 villages under the JJM, but the Union government won't bear 50% of the total project costs for a few reasons.
