The trailer of Kajol‘s much-talked about digital debut The Trial: Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha dropped on Monday. The show has the Bollywood actor play a lawyer caught between a rock and a hard place as she’s asked to represent her husband, who gets involved in a sex and corruption scandal. Directed by Suparn Varma, the show also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Sheeba Chadha, Alyy Khan, Kubra Sait and Gaurav Pandey among others. It has been co-produced by Ajay Devgn Films. The surprise announcement of her exit from social media turned out to be a promotional campaign for the upcoming courtroom drama, co-produced by her actor-husband Ajay Devgn. Looking radiant in a satin red number, Kajol unveiled the trailer and revealed that it was a fairly easy decision for her to step into the Web space as she doesn't differentiate between OTT and film. "I have always thought that whenever I work, I will do something I enjoy the most, work with good people and that script will always be my hero," Kajol explains, adding, "Whether it is an OTT platform or a film, for me a role is a role.
