Men's Uganda Kabaddi League Season 2 points table

The second edition of the Men's Uganda Kabaddi League Season 2 started on January 5, 2023. An enthralling first season saw Star Pirates KC stamp their authority throughout the tournament. They won 13 of the 14 matches in the league stage, losing just once. Star Pirates KC went on to win the championship, getting the better of Jakana Super Bullets in the final. This time out, the Men's Uganda Kabaddi League will be a 10-team affair as compared to an eight-team competition in the previous edition. Kampala KC and Masaka KC are the two new entrants, who will contest for the trophy with the existing sides. As a result of the two new additions, the number of matches is set to increase too and hence, a total of 94 matches will be played as compared to 61 in the first season. The final contest will be staged on January 28, 2023. Men's Uganda Kabaddi League Season 2 points system The second edition of the Men's Uganda Kabaddi League will see each match played over 40 minutes, divided into two halves of 20 minutes each. A team will receive five points for every win and zero for a defeat. The side which finishes atop the Men's Uganda Kabaddi League Season 2 points table will face the fourth-placed side in the semi-final whereas the second and third-placed teams will square off in the other semi-final. UP Yoddhas defeated U Mumba 38-28 in the first encounter of Pro Kabaddi 2022 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday, 2nd December. The 10-point win over Mumba helped UP jump to 3rd place on the points table. Patna Pirates suffered a 6-point loss against Gujarat Giants in the second clash on the night, which saw Gujarat keeping their playoff hopes alive. Haryana Steelers got the better of Bengal Warriors to register a 32-26 win over Bengal Warriors and jump into the seventh position just behind Dabang Delhi. After today’s results, Jaipur and Puneri became the first two teams to qualify for the playoffs this season.
