This monument is more of an architectural marvel than a temple as there are no idols inside to worship. The most amazing part is that it's completely made of red bricks including the arches and the bends. Even the size of the bricks used is at least twice the size of the bricks which we use nowadays. The details and intricacies are just astounding and cannot be put into words. My first trip to Ganges with great expectations, but alas. Construction was going on the Ghats and that made it difficult to stand at the steps. Water was muddy . Visited the nearby Ghats which were vividly named. Place is well maintained but needs to be more informative and Clean. Overall visited the various Ghats and finally washed my hands in the holy river. Take a metro to Kalyanpur metro station. From there take share AUTO- Rs 20 per person. Ride is for 20-25mins depending on Traffic. Get down and ask people for direction . On the way you can enjoy the food at various eateries. The place can be very crowded during certain days of month. The deity is mesmerising. Everyday shringar is beautiful. Apart from shri Dwarkadheesh ji & Rukmaniji, there is the Singhania family(JK Group) Kul Devi & Shivalinga. The temple is next to Kamla Tower. The approach road to the temple is very narrow & congested which is a bit challenging. Otherwise a must see temple of Kanpur with very powerful vibrations.
