The show will be directed by popular director Kannan Thamarakulam. The show will go on air from Monday (14 January) on the occasion of Makara Sankranti.

Swamy Ayyappan series fame actor Kaushik Babu and his wife Rathna Bhavya welcomed their first baby on Tuesday. Taking to his Instagram handle, Kaushik announced the happy news that he has been blessed with a baby girl. Kaushik got married to Rathna Bhavya in 2019. It was recently Kaushik hinted that he and his wife were waiting for a new guest by sharing Bhavya’s baby shower pictures. The actor shot to fame with his portrayal of Swami Ayyappan in Malayalam. Though it has been several years since the end of the Swami Ayyappan series, Kaushik is still in the minds of Malayalees as Ayyappan. He has also has acted in Telugu movies including Pavitra and a couple of other short films. Kaushik, who was last seen in the 2015 Malayalam movie White Boys is also a dancer and an ace gymnast.

Tv actor "I began my acting career on small screen with Kalankitha when I was just three years old and later on, I acted in several Tv serials in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. In fact, Tv shows based on the life of Ayappa and Ramayana became so popular in Kerala that I was referred to as Kutti NTR there, because NTR is so famous for his roles as Rama and Krishna. I'm really with the way my career is going right and I'm hoping to do bigger films in near future," he said.

Joining the bandwagon of actor-turned-directors is Swami Ayyappan fame . The actor, who had recently starred in the Malayalam film White Boys, is currently shooting for his debut directorial in Telugu, titled Money Vs Manishi. Actor Siva Reddy’s brother Sampath debuts in the movie as the lead. The director is also part of the film’s cast in guest role. Kaushik says, “Money Vs Manishi is a suspense thriller drama. The film’s concept is based on how wealth divides people into different classes. We have completed the first schedule and will soon start the next. The film is mostly shot in Hyderabad and Sidhipet.” Ravi Kanth and Sravya Pathuri also play prominent roles in the movie, which is scripted by Shashanka. Interestingly, the actor developed an interest in direction after working with Malayalam directors. “I got smitten by the intense movie making style of Malayalam directors, and also got to learn immensely about the craft during my short stints in the industry. The committed, hardworking professionals that they are, I had decided that whenever I take up direction, they would serve as my role models,” Kaushik says.
