Visited the temple at late afternoon, when there was limited crowd. Lingaraja Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the oldest temples with attractive architecture and the most prominent landmark of Bhubaneswar city. As shoe, bag and mobile are not allowed inside the temple, there is provision of locker for keeping the belongings at a nominal charge at the entry point of the temple. The children are not allowed inside the temple, also certificate for both doses of vaccination is necessary for entry. It is an historical temple with expansive complex. The entire temple complex is neatly maintained. In addition to the main temple, there exists several minor temples dedicated to other deities within the complex.
