Madurai: A placement programme for select students of arts and science colleges affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) and spot admissions for the few available seats for some of the UG courses are set to be held at the MKU campus in Palkalai Nagar on Thursday (June 15). The In an official notification, M Ramakrishnan, registrar (in-charge), MKU, said that the programme will be held for the current year passing students. Students of Madurai district, who studied in MKU affiliated colleges can attend the programme, which begins from 9.30am onwards. Meanwhile, MKU is also conducting spot admissions for the few available UG seats, including BSc computer science (cyber security), BSc computer science (artificial intelligence and machine learning), BA Tamil, BA English, BCom, BSc (psychology) and BSc mathematics. The selected candidates will be admitted the same day after verification. They have to pay the prescribed tuition fee and other fees. Eligible candidates must bring all original certificates (mark statements, transfer certificate, community certificate and other relevant certificates) with two photocopies and recent passport size photographs.
