What's New at Manipal University? THE World University Rankings 2023: In the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023, Manipal University was ranked in the band 801-1000. The rankings are based on 13 different factors that measure how well universities teach, do research, share knowledge, and have an international focus. To ensure the rankings are accurate, the researchers studied more than 121 million citations from over 15.5 million research papers and got feedback from 40,000 scholars worldwide. They collected massive information, with over 680,000 data points from more than 2,500 participating universities. NIRF Ranking 2023:As per NIRF Ranking 2023, Manipal University has bagged the sixth position in the ‘universities’ category. Manipal University, formerly Manipal Academy of Higher Education, was founded in 1956 in Manipal, Karnataka. Manipal Academy of Higher Education improves NIRF ranking

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) has ranked Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) sixth in the university category making it one of the top 10 universities in the country. MAHE’s position went up to sixth from seventh last year, a release from MAHE said on Wednesday. In the overall India rankings, MAHE was 16th among the top 20 varsities of the country. Many of the constituent units of MAHE are also among the top 10 under various disciplines. Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal, was second in the dental discipline. Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangaluru, bagged the eighth position. Kasturba Medical College of Manipal was ninth in the medical domain, and Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal was ninth in the pharmacy discipline. MAHE also improved its research ranking to 25th from 30th position among the top ranked 50 institutions, the release said. Ranjan R.
