NEW DELHI: Prime Minister The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been celebrating Prime Minister Modi's birthday as 'Seva Diwas' (Day of Service) for several years by organising welfare activities across the country for a fortnight. This year too, it has planned a fortnight-long 'Seva Pakhwara' from September 17 to October 2, ending with the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The party has also circulated a booklet on the life and times of PM Modi. The booklet acknowledges PM Modi’s contribution as BJP mascot to make the party virtually “invincible” in electoral politics.
