Reports throughout the 5-hour open-heart surgery, including the wrap-up report, all indicated that everything went smoothly and according to plan. As of now (Weds afternoon), they moved Gary to the ICU for the immediate surgery recovery period, and he will have his own room sometime tomorrow.
