Namchi is a small town in South Sikkim, despite it being the district headquarters of the South Sikkim district. We drove to Namchi after a lovely stay at Baiguney on the banks of the River Rangeet. Chardham or Siddheshwar Dham located on Solophok Hill here was our biggest attraction for visiting Namchi. Very Beautiful temples Complex. Replica of 4 Chardham and 12 Jyotiralingas. To visit each temple peacefully, you need couple of hours of time. Place is very serene and beautifully managed. At the top is Awesone Shiva temple with inside of temple beautifully crafted with Shiva's life events. There is a Pure Veg Restaurant, serves excellent food items. The tall statue of Lord Shiva is in the top part of Char Dham also called Sidheswar Dham. We visited in Dec'21 and had darshan of Shiv and other deities in one place. God bless all. About Solophok Chardham/Namchi Tourism This Pilgrim Centre has a most important temple of 108 feet height on which is established the 87 feet high statue of Lord Shiva.
