The couple had a beautiful traditional ceremony at a resort in Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu which was a private affair with only family members and close friends in attendance. South Indian superstar The Fusion Bride Nayanthara looked like a vision as she walked the aisle in her JADE by MK saree and an ethereal scalloped veil. A perfect fusion of tradition and modernity, the vermilion saree featured tonal embroidery inspired by the carvings of the Hoysala temples. For her crew neck blouse, the designer duo Monica & Karishma reimagined Goddess Lakshmi motifs as bajubandh on the long sleeves. Nayanthara’s look was finished off with layered polki and emerald jewels and a minimal trail. The Traditional Groom While Nayanthara’s outfit was all about experimentation, Vignesh opted for a look rooted in tradition and dressed up in a standing collar kurta, zari veshti ( dhotti), and matching shawl. Impactful yet simple, the all-ivory look perfectly complemented Nayanthara’s outfit.
