The two IAS and IPS officers suspended following a brawl in Ajmer district allegedly used hockey sticks and lathis to beat up hotel staff in the presence of policemen. Describing the alleged incident on June 11, the hotel staff said they had no idea of who the two officers were until the incident drew attention and the police filed an FIR. “We want strong action (against them,” said Narayan Singh, the owner of Makrana Raj Hotel and Restaurant, where the alleged brawl took place.
