We offer an exciting opportunity to participate in movements for social change and welcome people from all fields to contribute to our initiatives. Interns and volunteers are an integral part of our dynamic team and we greatly value their efforts, creativity and contributions. SLIC appreciates the support it receives from its National and International interns/volunteers. Our interns and volunteers go back with the commitment to contribute to the society through the experience they have gained while working with us. We welcome and encourage internship applications from students in law schools and Institutes of Social Work that are less well known and outside the metro cities. We actively support women, dalit and disabled students and volunteers and will do our best to make reasonable adjustments to our working environments and practices to accommodate equal access and opportunities. Priority consideration will be given to applicants who have exhibited an interest in human rights, social and legal issues, and an eagerness to interact, learn and teach, for example by their voluntary work or activism on relevant causes. Hamari Pahchan, is a Delhi based NGO that puts forth a platform to aid the marginalized of our society. We provide various opportunities to underprivileged people so they can create their own Pahchan (identity). Our focus spans over multiple areas like education, menstrual health awareness, unemployment and hunger. Since its inception in 2015, we have helped educate 11250+ children, help 2000+ women with employment opportunities, distributed 10,000+ menstrual hygiene kits and 1500+ corona kits. Our relentless efforts have helped us in becoming one of the best NGOs in Delhi. Our projects like the Drishti Project (Educating Children), Sukhad Project (Awareness regarding menstrual hygiene for women, distribution of health kit), Skill Development (Providing employment opportunities to the underprivileged) and initiatives like COVID-19 aid, have proved immensely beneficial to a lot of people. Our team works with a will to elevate people’s lives, fulfil their dreams and make them self-reliant which will further accelerate national growth and push the Atma Nirbharta initiative to new heights. WE CARE for poor children and women by providing legal and medical aid and by organizing awareness and distribution drives. WE EDUCATE children and women about basic life skills, health, and hygiene.
