NIRF Rankings 2022: The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF Rankings 2022) has been released today, July 15 by the education minister Dharmendra Pradhan. This year, IIM Ahmedabad has topped the management college ranking followed by IIM Bangalore & IIM Calcutta. This year's ranking has been announced based on eleven different categories such as Overall, University Management, College, Pharmacy, Medical, Engineering, Architecture, ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements), Law and Research Institutions. Andhra Pradesh's higher educational institutions performed poorly in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF-2023). Andhra University was the only institution to be among the top 100 institutions in the country, while Sri Venkateswara University was on the list in 2021. However, its ranking has slipped consistently over the years. Visakhapatnam: The higher educational institutions of Andhra Pradesh put up a poor show in the national institutional ranking framework-2023 (NIRF-2023), the results of which were released on Monday. Andhra University was the only institute to find a place in the list of top-100 institutions of the country, apart from Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation University. However, Andhra University has been consistently slipping in its ranking in the overall category for the last several years – from 29th place in 2019 to 36th place in 2020 to 48th place in 2021 to 71st position in 2022 to 76th position in 2023. Even in the universities’ category, the ranking of Andhra University has slid to 43 (from 16 in 2019 to 19 in 2020 to 24 in 2021 to 36 in 2022). Sri Venkateswara University (92nd rank) was in the top-100 institutions’ list in 2021. But the institute could not achieve the feat in the last two years.
