The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of Education has released the India Rankings 2023 which includes the Overall, Universities, Colleges, Research Institutions, Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Medical, Dental, Law, Architecture and Planning, Agriculture and, Allied sectors and Innovation categories. In the NIRF Engineering Rankings 2023, IIT Madras has retained 1st place, followed by IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay. NIRF Engineering 2023: The Minister of State for Education and External Affairs, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh today released the NIRF Rankings 2023. The National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Education introduced the India Rankings 2023 under thirteen different categories. The NIRF 2023 rankings are available on the official website at nirfindia.org. The NIRF 2023 rankings include the following categories; Overall, Universities, Colleges, Research Institutions, Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Medical, Dental, Law, Architecture and Planning, Agriculture and, Allied Sectors and Innovation. In NIRF Engineering Ranking 2023, the Indian Institute of Madras (IIT Madras) has retained the first spot followed by IIT-Delhi and IIT-Bombay. Last year, IIT Madras topped the engineering rankings with a score of 90.04. However, the score has dropped this year to 89.79. NIRF India Rankings 2022: NIRF India Ranking 2022 was released today i.e. July 15, 2022, by the education minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was released at 11 am on the official website - nirfindia.org. NIRF framework was prepared by the Union Ministry of Education to rank Higher Education Institutions (HEI’s) across India in various categories & subject domains. Continuing with the old record, IIT Madras has once again topped the NIRF rankings and continues to be among the top college rankings in India. This is the 4th consecutive year for IIT Madras in the overall catgeory and 7th consecutive year for the 'Engineering' category. In the 'Research Institutions' category, the Institute was ranked 2nd, same as of last year. The IIT Madras moved to 10th position in the 'Management' category, improving its last year’s position of 13.
