UP Board Exam 2020: UP police launches anti

By India Today Web Desk: UP Board Exam 2020: Attention students, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will begin then UP Board Examination 2020 from tomorrow, i.e. February 17, 2020. As per reports, around 56 lakh students are expected to appear for the UP Board Examination 2020. Class 10 would be conducted from February 18 to March 3 while Class 12 would be conducted from February 18 to March 6. This year, the UP Police have launched an anti-noise helpline number for the students of class 10th and class 12th. The aim is to have a conducive environment for students, and if the students are disturbed by any kinds of noises, they can call the anti-noise helpline. UP Police 'anti-Noise helpline' number The 112 Anti-Noise Helpline would be active for the students to register complaints from 15th February 2020 to 31st March 2020. UP police have asked the students of class 10th and 12th to focus on their studies and don't worry about the noise, they will take care of them "Police will help if you (students) are disturbed by the noise during the studies. Police will take action if there is more noise than the prescribed limit. Legal action will also be taken for consistently violating the rules." said Additional Director General of Police Aseem Arun

Noise Pollution : Pune Police launches helpline number to raise complaints against noise pollution

“Now Pune citizens complain to Pune police directly through the helpline number. Definitely action will be taken against the violators,” said Retesh Kumar, commissioner of police Pune. According to police officials, the mobile number will help to streamline the process of dealing with noise pollution complaints and will make it easier for citizens to report incidents of excessive noise in their neighborhoods.
