Open-Plus Oral Suspension is given to children to treat the symptoms of acute diarrhea and dysentery caused due to bacterial infections. It kills the diarrhea-causing microorganism, restores the level of water and electrolytes, and reduces the symptoms, severity, and duration of illness. Give Open-Plus Oral Suspension to your child orally either before or after food. For best results, you must also keep giving ORS (oral rehydration solution) throughout the day. Usually, Open-Plus Oral Suspension is prescribed two times a day, once in the morning and once at bedtime. However, this dose may vary depending upon your child’s symptoms, body weight, and age.
