MUMBAI: Film actress Parveen Babi, who mesmerised thousands of Bollywood fans with her performances in blockbusters like Deewar, Namak Halal and Amar Akbar Anthony with her trend-setting Westernised looks, was found dead at her Juhu residence on Saturday.Babi was found lying on the bed after the door of her terrace flat was broken open by a police team following a complaint from the manager of her housing society that newspaper and milk packets had been piling up at her door since the last three days.Zonal deputy commissioner Amitabh Gupta told TOI initial investigations revealed that Babi had died in her sleep. ‘‘We do not suspect any foul play since there are no injury marks on the body and no signs of struggle in the apartment.’’ The body has been sent for post-mortem.Parveen Babi was reportedly suffering from diabetes and wasn''t keeping well.
