ਸੀਐਮ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡਾ ਤੋਹਫਾ, ਨਵੇਂ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ 'ਤੇ 45 ਕਾਊਂਟਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲਣਗੀਆਂ 1500 ਬੱਸਾਂ Patiala News : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਬਣੇ ਅਤਿ-ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ (Patiala New bus stand) ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਨਵਾਂ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ -ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਮੇਨ ਰੋਡ 'ਤੇ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤਿ-ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਸੀਐਮ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ 45 ਕਾਊਂਟਰ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਇੱਥੋਂ 1500 ਬੱਸਾਂ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਅਪਾਹਜ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਚਾਰ ਲਿਫਟਾਂ, ਰੈਂਪ ਤੇ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਬੱਸ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਵੀ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਹੋਰ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਮਿਲਣਗੀਆਂ। ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਵੀ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਨਵਾਂ ਵੀ ਚਾਲੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ’ਤੇ ਕਰੀਬ 60 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਤੇ 8.25 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਹੈ। ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਚਾਲੂ ਹੋਣ 'ਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਕਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਬੱਸ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਕੰਡਕਟਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਰਾਮ ਕਮਰਾ ਸੀਐਮ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ-ਕੰਡਕਟਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਰੈਸਟ ਹਾਊਸ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਾਪਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਤਰਜੀਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਹੋਰ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਵੀ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਜਲੰਧਰ 'ਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੇ ਬਿੱਲ, ਸਕੂਲ, ਮੁਹੱਲਾ ਕਲੀਨਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਲ, ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਪਈ ਹੈ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਤ-ਪਾਤ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਮੰਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਜਦਕਿ 'ਆਪ' ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। Published at : 16 May 2023 01:07 PM (IST) Tags: Follow

Principal Secretary Transport K Siva Prasad Reviews Construction Work of New Bus Stand Patiala -Expressed Satisfaction Over the Pace of Work Patiala, August 6: Principal Secretary, Transport, Punjab K Siva Prasad while reviewing the progress of construction of modern bus stand near Rajpura Bypass, here, today expressed satisfaction over the work. He directed the officials of PWD to complete the work within the stipulated time to facilitate the people. On this occasion, the officials of the Public Works Department apprised the Principal Secretary Transport about the progress of the construction work and informed that the target has been set to complete the main building by November 30. Besides it, the construction of the Pillars of flyover started for smooth movement of buses from Rajpura. The roof of the workshop block has been laid. Work on shops / showrooms to be set up at the bus stand, has been started. Pavement work for the movement of buses at the bus stand is being carried out on a war footing. Similarly work of steps to enter the bus stand has been started. In addition, after the drawings for the ticket counter and the front compound wall, were approved, construction is now set to begin soon. It was informed on the occasion that this bus stand was being constructed in an area of 8.51 acres at a cost of Rs. 60.97 crore. PATIALA: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday said that voters of Jalandhar have rejected the negative and hatred based propaganda of traditional parties by giving verdict in favour of development oriented policies of the state government. Addressing a gathering after dedicating the newly constructed bus stand here today, the Chief Minister said that the voters of Jalandhar Parliamentary segment had casted votes in favour of schools of eminence, Aam Aadmi Clinics, unprecedented progress, well being of the people and others.
