PATNA: Hundreds of passengers, including women and children, were in utter shock to see the railway announcement TV screens beaming pornographic film on the crowded platform number 10 of Patna Junction on Sunday morning. Two separate FIRs have been lodged against Messrs M Dutta Studio Company Pvt Limited under the RPF Act and IT Act and the process has been initiated to blacklist the company. The obscene Danapur RPF senior commandant Prakash Kumar Panda said the Patna RPF immediately swung into action and lodged an FIR against the agency under the RPF Act. The Kolkata-based agency was given the contract to make regular announcements on the TV screens about arrival and departure of trains at Patna Junction. “Railways has cancelled the contract of the agency and summoned its officials to Patna RPF post for further investigation into the matter,” he said. The operator fled soon after the shameful incident. If he fails to turn up before the RPF team, railway security forces would seek an arrest warrant against him and other persons of the agency involved in such a mischievous act, Panda said.
