"The reason the world is not seeing Jesus is that Christian people are not filled with Jesus. They are satisfied with attending meetings weekly, reading the Bible occasionally, and praying sometimes. It is an awful thing for me to see people who profess to be Christians lifeless, powerless, and in a place where their lives are so parallel to unbelievers’ living lives in which it is difficult to tell which place they are in, whether in the flesh or in the Spirit.”

Homemade Pear Juice (Two Ways)

When we think of autumn fruits, apples usually come to mind, but it’s pears that are my fall favorites. Pears are softer and much juicier than the standard apple, plus they are packed with antioxidants. In this post I’ll show you two delicious ways to enjoy the juice of this sweet and refreshing fall fruit! The first juice is a pure pear juice. Made with nothing but ripe Bartlett pears and a little bit of lemon to help the juice stay fresh for longer. The second recipe is an autumn greens pear juice (pictured) that combines fresh fall veggies with pears for a nutrient dense juice that has less carbs and sugar than the pure pear juice. Both juices are delicious and super easy to make! Like all fresh juice, pear juice loses its freshness quickly. But properly stored juice can last up to 2-3 days. As soon as you make it, the juice begins oxidizing (the natural process that turns fruit brown). The oxidation process degrades the nutrients in the juice so it is best to drink it as soon as possible. To maximize the shelf life of your juice and minimize oxidation, store your juice in an airtight jar in the fridge. You should fill the jar to the very top with juice so there is the least amount of air in the jar as possible. I use this Scale 1x 2x 3x Ingredients Pure Pear Juice • 5 Pears, stems removed • 1/2 Lemon, peeled (or 1 tbsp lemon juice) lemon helps keep the juice fresh • 1 cup Water (only if you are using a blender) • 1 cup Ice (only if you are using a blender) Autumn Green...
