Hi! My name is Lia H. and I have been working really hard to be the best piano teacher in Las Vegas. I have spent many hours into teaching students piano. There is nothing more rewarding than teaching. I really hope that you will consider me as a prospective teacher for your child. I am not focused on making money. My main focus is to teach students long-term and to allow them the ability to eventually be independent from me in the future. I want the prices to be as affordable as possible. If there are any questions, please message me. I am happy to answer any questions that you may have. I hope to hear from you soon :) I've taught many Piano students at a private music academy, ranging from small children to adults. For a beginner, we will focus on fundamentals, as good technique is an investment in future success. I use a well-respected Piano method book for all my students, and many of them have had great success under my instruction. I am a master teacher focusing on the classical repertoire along with the very strong approache to improvisation. I am really helping each single student to achieve their interests in music rather than focusing on teaching one particular method. I just take a very similar approach to the Suzuki method but instead of teaching out of the method books I teach mixture of exercises and pieces that I believe are more fun and accessible to today student of any age. Classes are tailored to the needs of any particular student and constantly evolvin...

I like to make learning an instrument fun and easy to fit into your schedule! If you're an adult finally getting around to learning your dream instrument or a child following your passion I tailor your lessons specifically to you. We look at what you want to play, pick specific songs that you want to learn, and learn the techniques you need to play these songs. It sounds simple, but it's the most effective and fun way to learn! All my students will receive a custom-tailored plan in which we will discuss goals and potential projects. The students will also receive well-annotated scores for the music they are learning after each lesson. Recording can be provided as well and students can always refer back to the video if they have any questions. Students can also contact me twice between lessons in case they encounter new problems or need clarification in their practice. Each student will be given thorough training in techniques so they can tackle all the difficult repertoire, and learn how to interpret music from different styles, such as Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 20th Century. Most importantly, all the vigorous work will be done in a very caring, positive, and honest environment.
